Many species of palm trees are used by the population living in French Guiana : to make objects (baskets, headdresses, toys for instance), to build houses (roofs, decorations...) but also to prepare meals (juice, ice cream, paste, oils...).

This exhibition is an invitation to discover these species and the way they are used.
